Public Utilities

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities is a public utility proudly providing electric, natural gas, water and wastewater services to the Los Alamos community.

Unlike an investor-owned utility, DPU focuses on service and community involvement rather than profits. It is a department under the Los Alamos County government, owned by the community, and governed by the Board of Public Utilities.
